Going Green ~ Baby Steps

In a post a few weeks ago, I asked for any suggestions for composting.  Since then I have continued to think about all of my options.  I read about composting in an organic gardening book from my library, and I love their suggestion of three cinderblock compartments, but after discussing it with Scott, I'm afraid that my dog and other neighborhood animals will see it as their personal smorgisboard.  

So the search continues.  We saw some great looking composters, but we just weren't done researching enough to invest in one.  So, instead we got this little kitchen composter.  I couldn't even wait to leave the store to take the picture.
