I'm trying to wrap (literally and figuratively) everything up and be ready for Christmas this weekend, so this is a quick one. How can I resist, however, saying thank you to all of my readers. Over the past few months, I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new friends and getting better acquainted with others.
This morning brought a welcome surprise- a caseworker brought gifts for the three kiddos who have been part of our family for the past year. The gifts came from Angel Tree donations. I've given Angel Tree donations myself, but it is amazing to actually know the children being blessed. I will be with them as they rip open those packages with delight. I know them well, and I know they'll love what is in each of those shiny packages. Hence my next thank you- thank you to all of you who bless others on Christmas. Whether it be an Angel Tree donation or something else, I can tell you first hand that you are truly making Christmas a special time for children who may not have ever had gifts or even happy memories on Christmas before.
Thank you, and Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to your family!
