Bring It In

Yesterday I asked my daughters if they wanted to go outside.  I had made some "snow paint" from leftover Kool-aide that I used to buy.  They didn't want to brave the cold, so we brought the fun inside.

To make your own is simple bring in some clean snow with clean utensils (In cas the kids take a taste!)  Use an old dish soap bottle filed with Kool Aid for coloring.

  1. We did the same exact thing today too! Perfect for those days when getting the kids dressed in all of their snow gear will take longer than you know they will last outside ;)

    1. Eh, it's fun the first few times, but it gets old! They like to go out and play in it, but as soon as my one year old looses her gloves (which is never long) she cries to go in.

    1. Thanks! It wasn't sweetened, but Addie still ate the red snow and said, "YUM!" It wasn't meant to be a snack!

    1. It's wonderful. Easy clean up too. It doesn't splash like water play! They are 1 and 3.

  10. We had to bring our brief snow inside because it was too windy out. Coloring with Kool-Aid is a great idea! Thanks for sharing at the Sunday Showcase. :)
