Thank You Lord

...for crock pot recipes!

...for my Monday Night Bible Study, and for the sweet teen who gives up every other Monday week after week to watch my Ana while I learn God's Word with my husband.

...for hot baths, even when I run them just a tad too hot!

...you aren't done with me yet!  I love that.  There's always hope and always grace.

...for my mom and dad.  I was so glad to be able to take Ana to dance without the babies tagging along.  My only regret was that I didn't have anything cast on the knitting needles to take with me!

...for community here online.  I love making new friends and getting new ideas from all of the fun link-ups I've been trying.

...for that skein of hand-spun purple wool upstairs just waiting to be knit. (from Mountain Mud Handmade)

...for my sweet and loving dog who sometimes acts like my third child!

...for those boxes which are STILL being unpacked.  I didn't think it would really take this long, but progress is being made even if it is slow.

...for my church and how I am ministered to there.

...for the remnants of the vivid fall colors covering the hillside outside my door.

...for the ones, little and big, in my studio every week eager to learn.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

    1. Thank you for visiting from Croatia! I do this every Wednesday because it helps remind me that no matter what I'm going through, God is worthy of our thanks and praise. I hope you continue to stop by each week and let me know what you are thankful for!

    1. Thank you! I'm thankful for the same thing- day after day I'm amazed at the miracle that children are. They learn so much and change and grow even from one day to the next. I would love for you to come back each Wednesday and let me know what you are thankful for!

  3. Your thankful list made me smile. I get such joy out of other's blessings. Today I'm thankful for my washer and dryer--laundry day! Candles that warm my spirit, medicine for my headache--it's helping, and for the yarn and crochet hook I just dug out to start a project with. (love, love your purple)

    1. LOL! I'm glad that you are thankful for the washer and dryer. I have to remember that next time I'm so tired and don't want to do laundry. I could have to wash it all by hand in the river like many women do. It is a blessing to have a washer and dryer.

  4. Your homespun caught my eye and brought me over here from Faith Filled Friday, especially since my post today is about spinning (not my usual topic!) Glad it did. I enjoyed your "thankfuls." And that yarn is gorgeous.

    1. I like it too! I had a hard time choosing which beautiful color I wanted, but I had to go with my daughters' favorite- purple!
