CSA Week 1

There’s nothing like getting two bags from the farm brimming to the top with green.   Yesterday, I was shocked at the amount and the quality of the food in those bags.  

The first share is mostly the makings of a amazingly huge Memorial  Day salad.

This week’s share includes:

·         Green head lettuce

·         Red head lettuce

·         Braising greens mesclun mix

·         Vitamin greens

·         Kale

·         Radishes and radish greens

·         Spinach

·         Scallions
