My backyard is full of possibilities. It's also full of plants starved for love and attention. After some advice from my mom, I figured out that I have some gems.
The first one may be chives or wild onions. We have both in our yard. The chives were provided by my sweet mother-in-law, the wild onions, well, I dig them out every chance I get.
I think you are right- my mom did say chives. She was telling me what I can do with the purple flowers, but for the life of me, I can't remember what. The garlic must be the boring plant growing next to it. LOL
What a find! Strawberries!!

DeleteIf you remember about the purple flowers, let me know. I only knew about the "leaves".
Deletewhat fun! It's always nice to have backyard edibles. Makes e feel like I'm saving money!
ReplyDeleteYep those are definitely chives; my mom always grew those. They could be garlic chives :). I love bleeding hearts; I wish they bloomed longer!
