Now is the time that I consider a blend between fall and summer. The shorts aren't completely retired yet, but most days call for sweaters and pants. The squash has started arriving from the farm, and CSA season is almost over already. The crock-pot is about to get lots of use as we enter the season for dance classes, music lessons, and swimming (if we can even fit it into our schedule). It's hard to say goodbye to the warmth, sunbathing, and splashing around in the backyard, but with a freezer full of organic goodness, it's a little easier.

mmmm...cilantro! love it and have tried to grow it many times and have yet to be successful :( enjoy all that goodness - i'm definitely looking forward to crock pot season :)
ReplyDeleteI grew a little bit in my own garden (this is all from the CSA), and only one shoot came up. It was still pretty good though in the salsa I made.
Deletethat is an amazing bunch of goodness you got from your CSA!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love getting these shares every week. I'll miss it soon when it's over!
