Scavenger Hunt
I printed this great scavnger hunt from this site . It was a great tool for teaching my kids about fall and all of the great things that happen during this season. At the park or even in your backyard or neighborhood walk, simply look for all of the things on the list. We did it while daddy was doing a geocache in the brambles. They called the list their menu.

What a fun activity! I should try it with my toddler. She might be a little young for it, but it could still be fun. And I'm featuring this tomorrow on my blog!
ReplyDeleteWe've done it several times, and my toddler enjoys it even though she can't grasp the concept at the same level as my three year old. You should try it!
DeleteThanks for featuring me. I'm truly honored!
Great activity for encouraging closer observation of the environment. Lots of fun too I imagine! :)
ReplyDeleteTons of fun! We had such a great time, and my three-year-old found almost the entire list!
DeleteThe best kind of activity is where learning is involved. It was great, I think! Your kids look adorable, and I’m quite certain they will only later realize the importance of this activity you regularly organize. For kids of their age, knowing the changes happening during fall is pretty smart! ;)
