Thank You Lord

She said this is the sun.

She loves to do artwork about God and Jesus.

...for carrying me through the storm!

...for being a mighty and loving God.  I love that you are close to those who are brokenhearted and poor in spirit.

...for my girls and their health.  I am so thankful that you have given me the precious gift of daughters.

...for my washer being fixed... and for my husband who fixed it.  I'm thankful that it was just a clogged filter and nothing more serious.

...for grace.

...for the readers who you have brought here many of whom share this fun hobby of blogging!  I love the little community of moms that I'm a part of!

...for the smell of pumpkin cookies left over from my last round of baking!

...new ideas for fun projects to do with my girls.  They are hands-on learners, and it's great to be able to be home every day to focus on them and help them learn and grow.

And I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
And every tear I've cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

Reader, What are you thankful for today?

  2. Your daughters are precious! (I love the sun!) I'm thankful for my Savior who allows me to tightly hold His hand through some very tough life stuff. I'm also thankful for my hard working grace-filled husband. AND Sunday I became a first-time grandmother...very exciting! Thank you, Lord! Thanks for this post and pointing us to praising Him!

    1. I can't believe the devastation... I'm so blessed to be far enough inland to have no damage, but I pray also for all of those still in trouble.

I will be linking up on Thankful Thursdays!
