I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I would like to share our new tradition with you. Pin it until next year!
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to express thankfulness and gratitude. Use your leaf rubbings to create a beautiful tree of thankfulness on Thanksgiving. Cut them out into the shape of the leaf the leaf's shape isn't visible on the rubbings done by the children, freehand a simple leaf shape. Ask all of your guests to write what they are thankful for, and give the children the job of making them into a tree of gratitude.
How did your family give thanks this Thanksgiving?

Very beautiful activity!
ReplyDeleteWe did a similar project with our playschool children... sometimes the things they were thankful for were oh so sweet. And sometimes it was downright hilarious!
