Thank You Lord
...for time each day to spend with my sweet girls. I love that I get to cook with them, do crafts with them, and just listen to them play. It's sweet bliss to know that these formative years are spent at home with their mama.
...for trips with friends.
...for time in the mountains with family. Even though it rained most of the time, there is something about that place that is relaxing beyond belief.
...for a tired baby falling asleep on Daddy's shoulder two days in a row.
...for beautiful fall leaves. (And for the sweet little three year old voice, "Oh Mommy! They are beauty-ful!)
...for the pile of beans pulled from the garden. I'm glad I checked the back of the fence!
...for my husband and his steadfast devotion to our kids and to me.
...for the thoughts of thanksgiving dinner!
...for health of my family. It's so simple, but there is nothing that I cherish more.
...for my adorable nephew who is crawling!
...for upcoming visits to the zoo.
...for our local library.
...for your Word. There is nothing that brings hope and joy to our household like Scripture.
...for a freezer filled with local organic vegetables and a few home cooked meals for those cold winter days!
Reader, what are you thankful for today?

I have been letting geno 'help' me cook lately. He loves it and pushes a chair over to the counter every time i'm cooking. My mom tells me he does it at her house too!
ReplyDeletei am thankful for his eagerness to help and learn!
I know! The eagerness is so cute and truly something to be thankful for. Addie's helping did make me laugh though because she wanted to be up there so bad, but she just sampled everything whereas Ana helped scoop, stir, dump, etc. It was enough for Addie to be close by and watching what we were doing.
DeleteI am also so thankful for my family's health and summer arriving (We live in Madagascar). I am also thankful for the freedom to read God's Word in this country! Linking up behind you at Time-Warp Wife.
